Tucked away in a quiet village just off the main highway, we are minutes from the Confederation Bridge, a short hop from Chelton Beach and Summerside--and a picturesque 25-minute drive from Cavendish. A stately Island home built in the 1860's, Maplethorpe opened to the public as a unique bed and breakfast accommodation in 2002. Our antique-filled guest rooms retain the home's original Victorian charm but are equipped to serve contemporary travellers with private baths, in-room cable television, telephone and high speed wireless Internet access. For 2006 we've added a spacious and bright vacation apartment available for weekly rental. We're open year around, so plan your Island escape anytime!
